Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Checker at our Ft Worth Berry Street location to deliver fast, friendly service at the front end and handle cash register transactions. This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication with customers and coworkers.

Under direct supervision, you will process sales, protect company assets, and meet physical job demands such as standing, bending and light lifting. Equal employment opportunity applies to all applicants.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English to read, write, and interact with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Comfort with following detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• Physical capability to lift and move up to 60 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service per Fiesta Mart standards.
• Process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the register.
• Perform cash register operations and safeguard company assets.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and assist customers as needed.
