The role also involves keeping the checkout area organized, assisting customers with large purchases, supporting inventory and merchandising near the checkout, and participating in required training to uphold store standards.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred.
• Ability to assist customers with large purchases and carryouts.

Responsabilités

• Accurately scan and ring out customer purchases using POS system.
• Handle cash, checks, and credit transactions; provide correct change.
• Close out registers at end of shift and balance cash.
• Assist customers with large purchases and carry items to their cars.
• Maintain checkout area cleanliness and replenish supplies.
• Assist in inventory management and merchandising near checkout.
• Follow company policies for shoplifting prevention and safety.
• Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.
