Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in Chicago is seeking a Coordinator team member to ensure efficient checkout operations and outstanding service at the front registers. You will help manage cash handling, assist customers, and maintain a clean, well-organized checkout area to support a smooth shopping experience.

You will also help with pricing accuracy, signage, and store merchandising while promoting safety and teamwork, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
• Serv Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers and responds promptly to needs.
• Oversees accurate operation of all cash registers and handles payments.
• Maintains clean, orderly checkout areas and proper cash control.
• Ensures all POS transactions are completed accurately and securely.
• Stocks and arranges merchandise at the front end and adheres to pricing accuracy.
• Assists with pricing, signage, and ad set compliance as required.
• Promotes safety and good housekeeping in the workspace.
