Job summary

Albertsons Companies seeks a Front-End Team Member to support checkout operations and ensure a smooth customer experience. You’ll handle transactions, assist customers, keep the front-end area organized, and contribute to fast, friendly service throughout shifts.

From scanning items to bagging groceries and answering questions, you’ll help close each visit on a positive note while staying adaptable in a busy store environment. Prior cashier or front-end training is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred
• Ability to handle cash, card, and digital payments
• Accurate scanning, pricing, and order completion
• Basic math and effective communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain workflow
• Support checkout area including bagging, carts, and stocking
• Identify and address pricing or service questions
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities
