McLane Company, Inc. in Temple, TX is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our distribution team on the 1st day shift. You’ll load and secure products, use tools as needed, and ensure quality before loading, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Must follow safety protocols and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers safely.
• Handle tasks by hand or with powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people, products, and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour.
• Start time: 8am to finish.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
