McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our distribution team in Cottonwood, AL. You will load and secure products, operate manual or powered equipment, and ensure product integrity before loading.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Perform duties by hand or with powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable products prior to loading.
• Report concerns about product integrity to a supervisor.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV:
