Job summary

Leidos seeks a Linguist for a range of language support tasks including translation, interpretation, and transcription for intelligence programs. You will translate reports and texts, interpret on request, and transcribe audio with high accuracy while maintaining English-language writing quality.

Applicants should have a BA/BS or equivalent, 4–8 years of relevant experience or a Masters with 2–6 years, and must pass a language test administered by Leidos or an approved vendor.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and/or equivalent formal military training and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Excellent English-language verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translation: translate reports/texts with accuracy and nuance to TL norms.
• Interpretation: consecutive interpretation; rare simultaneous interpretation.
• Transcription: review and transcribe audio with high accuracy.
