Job summary

Valet Park of America is seeking Shuttle Drivers for night shifts in Providence, RI. Positions are part-time or full-time, with evening shifts from 5pm-12am or 7pm-3am.

Operators will drive mini vans or 14-passenger shuttles, with base pay of $21/hour and $23/hour with CDL and passenger endorsement. Must be 20+, with 3 years driving and customer service experience; RI Chauffeur license or CDL required; medical card and background checks required.

Qualifications

• Over 20 years old with 3 years of documented driving experience.
• Customer service experience is a must.
• RI Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons politely and assist them as needed.
• Safely shuttle customers to various destinations.
• Open and close doors for patrons.
• Follow traffic laws for safe shuttle operation.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers (radio with management and others).
• Complete pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
• Record passenger counts and trip times.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of equipment (signs, cones, etc.).
• Sweep shuttles and maintain cleanliness.
• Report mechanical problems to management.
• Follow company procedures for shuttle operations.

We are seeking Chauffer Drivers for Night Shifts FT or PT (Chauffeur or CDL license) for work in Providence, RI.

We have evening shifts 5pm-12am or 7pm-3am providing safe rides for college students.

Drivers can expect to operate mini van style vehicles or 14 passenger walk-ons.

Shuttle drivers for this role earn a base rate of $21/hour. Drivers with a CDL and P endorsement earn $23/hour.

The shuttle provides late night rides for college students.

Must be over 20, 3 years of documented driving experience, and customer service experience is a must!

A valid RI Chauffer license or CDL with passenger endorsement is required.

Valid medical card is also required. Background checks, drug tests, and driving test will be conducted.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location that the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited tothe following:

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
• Opening and closing doors for patrons
• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendants
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Recording passenger counts and trip times
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones etc.)
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
