Job summary

You will perform electrical and cab modifications, install PTO systems and related components, and drill and prep chassis frames for mounting hardware to meet work orders and quality standards. The role requires reading diagrams and work orders, precise measurement, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, wiring diagrams, installation instructions and technical drawings.
• Ability to measure accurately and lay out drilling locations.
• Familiarity with drilling, fastening, mounting hardware and mechanical assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to learn electrical, PTO and hydraulic systems; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and route wiring harnesses, switches and circuits per diagrams and body-builder guidelines.
• Make approved cab modifications, such as switch panels and control mounts.
• Test circuits and confirm all components work before the chassis moves on.
• Install PTO units, pumps, drive shafts and related hydraulic components to manufacturer specs.
• Wire and set up PTO controls and confirm PTO engagement.
• Measure and lay out drill locations and mounting points on frame rails.
