Job summary

Heritage Truck Equipment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chassis Modifications Welder in Hartville, OH to join our production team. You will perform MIG welding on steel components, measure and cut chassis frames, and install hinge assemblies, cross members and pintle plates per instructions.

The role requires reading tape measures and blueprints, using basic hand tools, and maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting teammates to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG welding of steel.
• Proven experience in cutting steel using plasma cutters.
• Ability to read tape a measure and interpret blue prints.
• Knowledge and use basic hand tools.
• Strong work history with reliable attendance.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Reliable transportation to our Hartville facility.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut chassis frames per work instructions.
• Install hinge assemblies, cross members and pintle plates as required.
• Perform MIG welding on steel components ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Drill holes and bolt on components when required.
• Collaborate with Team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
