Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring a maintenance technician in Seattle, WA to repair and maintain chassis, trailers and containers. You will diagnose issues, replace parts, weld as needed, and keep accurate service records. This is a full-time day-shift role offering competitive pay and benefits.

Starting pay ranges from $23.82 to $27.26 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, a 401(k), paid training, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in chassis/trailer/container repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of brake systems, lights, tires, and framework.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must pass pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on chassis, trailers, and containers.
• Diagnose and replace or repair lights, tires, landing legs, brakes, and framework.
• Conduct minor welding and fabrication as needed.
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on chassis, trailers, and containers
• Diagnose and replace or repair lights, tires, landing legs, brakes, and framework

• Basic welding skills preferred not required
• Knowledge of brake systems, lights, tires, and framework
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Must have basic set of hand tools
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
• The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
