Job summary

DCLI in Houston seeks a Maintenance & Repair Supervisor to monitor and control M&R activities for chassis and trailers within the region. You will lead cost-control efforts, coordinate with vendors, and ensure service levels meet company policies.

You will conduct site visits, review work orders, generate reports, and support inventory management while traveling 60–80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in maintenance and repair.
• Thorough knowledge of chassis or trailer repair.
• Ability to communicate company policy and procedures.
• Ability to identify problems and seek solutions.
• Ability to work independently to meet daily requirements.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control M&R costs for chassis.
• Monitor and control OOS equipment levels and repairs.
• Communicate with logistics on equipment requirements.
• Update M&R system with OOS status and notes.
• Visit Terminals and CYs to address M&R issues and enforce policies.
• Ensure vendor adherence to DCLI inspection/repair standards.
• Assist locations in reducing M&R costs without compromising service.
