Job summary

The role focuses on developing and validating chassis quality improvements across Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia vehicles, with emphasis on testing, data analysis, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical/auto engineering background, 3+ years in QA/QC, and the ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in QA/QC, quality improvement, or vehicle quality investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Domestic and international travel up to 30% is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate chassis quality issues and respond to requests from NAHQ/HMG stakeholders.
• Analyze data from tests to diagnose root causes and validate improvements.
• Benchmark designs, procedures, and TSBs; identify market trends from external indices.
• Research, procure, and apply new data acquisition tools and methods.
• Coordinate with outsourced vendors to meet contractual deliverables.
• Create and present technical reports as assigned.
