Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing chassis or suspension components.
• Experience with CATIA V5 or V6 and 2D drawings with GD&T.
• Experience with component development, testing, validation, and release.
• Understanding of pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems, sealing, electrical systems.
• Ability to plan and coordinate engineering activities against long-term program schedules.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with suppliers and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design prototype chassis hardware and electromechanical systems using CATIA.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and GD&T packs for fabrication.
• Own component design and release through the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate performance of mechanical assemblies (static, dynamic, thermal).
• Develop and execute component tests and data analysis.
• Support vehicle-level development, integration, and bring-up.
• Coordinate with Tier 1 suppliers on designs and deliveries.
• Maintain technical documentation and specs.
• Collaborate with mechatronics, controls, AI teams.
