Director, Commercial Recruitment at Spinnaker Global Ltd

We are currently partnered with one of the world's leading bulk owner/operators in their search for a new Chartering Manager to join their team in Stamford. This is a great opportunity for an established charterer/broker to join the cargo desk of a leading international company within dry bulk shipping.

In this position, you will be required to work in close collaboration with the tonnage desk to cover their tonnage positions and look for arbitrage opportunities on a spot and forward basis. This role will require strong business development skills and would suit someone who enjoys pursuing new lines of business and developing relationships with cargo accounts.

Strong analytical skills would also be advantageous as you will need to follow the commodity environment and identify market trends, thereby looking for opportunities where profit can be made.

Existing US working entitlement is a prerequisite for this role, as well as the ability to travel both domestically and internationally. A minimum of 2 years of chartering or broking experience within the dry cargo market is required for this position.
