Job Summary/Basic Function:

This position is intended for a student worker who will provide ongoing support to the Lake Superior State University Charter Schools Office with a variety of weekly administrative and operational tasks. The student worker will assist with general office organization, preparation of materials, data entry, filing, communication, and other duties that support the day-to-day operations of the office. In addition, the position will provide opportunities for the student worker to assist with outreach initiatives, represent the Charter Schools Office at campus and community events, and participate in visits from LSSU-authorized academies. The student worker may also assist with preparing for academy visits, outreach activities, and other projects designed to strengthen connections between LSSU, the Charter Schools Office, and its authorized schools. This position will provide valuable hands‑on experience in higher education administration, community outreach, and public education while supporting the overall mission and operations of the Charter Schools Office.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be responsible, motivated, and self-directed individuals.

Physical Demands:

May need to sit for extended periods of time, use a computer and other technology, and occasionally lift or move light objects.

Work Hours: 10-15 hours per week
