Elite education reformers wanted. We're not just building charter schools—we're revolutionizing the learning model itself. Our AI-powered instruction delivers a full day's education in just two hours, but first, we need regulatory approval. This is where your strategic writing expertise becomes the gateway to educational transformation.

As our Charter School Consultant, you'll architect comprehensive charter applications that cut through bureaucratic barriers in key states. You'll navigate complex regulatory landscapes, align with district requirements, and craft compelling narratives that secure approvals for a learning model that defies conventional boundaries. This role demands full ownership, startup velocity, and the ability to build sophisticated applications from the ground up.

If you excel when given autonomy, thrive under pressure, and are driven to fundamentally reshape education at scale, this position offers the impact you've been seeking.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Authoring comprehensive charter application sections that precisely satisfy state and district regulatory frameworks.
  • Representing our organization in critical district and state meetings to clarify expectations and secure stakeholder alignment.
  • Executing rapid iteration cycles on application drafts based on expert feedback and regulatory guidance.
  • Coordinating strategic priorities and milestone planning with the Director of Charter Growth through weekly collaboration.
  • Identifying and resolving documentation gaps and narrative inconsistencies before they become obstacles.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Implementing predetermined templates or making incremental adjustments to existing content.
  • Waiting for comprehensive instructions before advancing critical initiatives.
  • Adapting to the traditional, measured pace of educational bureaucracies.
  • Developing proposals for conventional educational models that perpetuate established norms.
  • Diverting focus to peripheral policy matters or standardized grant applications.
Charter School Consultant Key Responsibilities

Secure regulatory approval for innovative 2 Hour Learning charter schools by developing compelling, compliant application materials that transform educational possibilities into operational realities.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex written deliverables (100+ pages) over extended project timelines.
  • Exceptional academic and narrative writing capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to excel in remote environments with high autonomy and minimal supervision.
  • Current residence in the United States.
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Advanced degree in education, public policy, or related discipline.
  • Professional experience in charter school development, education advocacy, or competitive grant writing.
  • Specific knowledge of education policy frameworks in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, or Florida.
