Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a Charter Driver to transport clients to and from pickup points in a timely, safe manner, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication with passengers and staff.

We offer paid CDL training, flexible scheduling (afternoon, evening and weekend hours), and a competitive pay rate of $27/hour. Applicants must be 21+, have a valid license for 3+ years, and be willing to obtain CDL B endorsements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Clear background check (CORI/SORI) required.
• Willing to obtain CDL B endorsements if not currently held.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus to transport passengers to/from field trips and events safely and on time.
• Assess traffic and road conditions and monitor passenger behavior.
• Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
• Maintain CDL and state school bus certifications in accordance with regulations.
• Assist passengers on/off the vehicle when needed.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks as required.
