Role Description

The Charter Coach Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Carrollton, TX, responsible for safely operating 56-passenger coach buses and other fleet vehicles for charter services. Day-to-day tasks include driving passengers to airports, hotels, event venues, schools, universities, and various destinations for tours, corporate travel, and special events. The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor vehicle safety and cleanliness, and report maintenance concerns in a timely manner. This role involves assisting passengers with boarding and luggage, following all traffic laws and company policies, and maintaining accurate logs, manifests, and trip documentation. The Charter Coach Driver is expected to deliver courteous, professional customer service, adapt to changing schedules, and collaborate with dispatch and reservations staff to ensure on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record; strong knowledge of local and regional routes and traffic regulations.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, including experience with pre-trip/post-trip inspections, defensive driving practices, and compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, assist passengers of varying needs, and represent the company in a professional, courteous manner.
• Time management and reliability, including the ability to follow schedules, adapt to route changes, and remain calm under pressure or in high-traffic situations.
