Job description

Are you driven, friendly, independent, motivated to learn, and looking for a bright future as a bus driver? Then being a driver for Bellair Charters might be exactly what you are looking for.

POSITION SUMMARY

It is the responsibility of Bellair Charters Drivers to provide safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to our valued customers. An average shift for this position is 8 hours but can vary from 8 to 15 hours.

Training for these positions consists of classroom and hands-on training. Drivers will be trained to operate mini-buses and motor coaches. All of our vehicles are equipped with automatic transmissions. Trainees will generally take 3 to 4 training trips to SeaTac with a senior driver; however, training time is directly associated with each individual employee's need.

Training Wage is $20.00 per hour. Once training is complete, our wage rate begins at $24.00 per hour plus a $0.50/hour safety bonus and tips. Tiered increases at every 2500 miles up to $25.00 per hour plus tips, with a safety performance bonus quarterly. PTO, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are available after 60 days of continuous service in a full-time position.

Certificate and Licenses:

1. Valid CDL A or B
2. Air Brake Endorsement
3. Clean Driving Record
4. Valid DOT Medical Card

Other Requirements:

1. Ability to pass a DOT/FTA drug screening.
2. 25 years of age or older.

This position spends the majority of the working hours inside the bus, driving groups to their destinations.
