Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support office visits, hospital follow-ups, and new patient visits. You will prepare charts and ensure accuracy in documentation while adhering to regulatory policies.

The role requires experience in healthcare settings, proficiency with EMR/EHR and MS Office, and the ability to work independently in a multi-site environment. Monday to Friday on-site at the Tampa location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Job Description Summary

• Provide accurate chart preparation for all upcoming office visits, Hospital Follow Up visits and New Patient visits.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
• Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Education:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Certifications/Licenses:
• Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
• Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
• Previous Experience:
• Two (2) years of experience working in a healthcare setting required, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Proficient with medical terminology
• Experience using EMR/EHR

Standard Core Workdays/Hours (specify weekends and call requirements): Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
