Avenues Recovery Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Chart Auditor to join our inpatient Detox and Residential facility. You will review charts for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance while supporting routine quality improvement efforts.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred, strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Punctual and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular chart audits to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor clinical and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Track missing documentation and ensure timely completion of all chart elements.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain adherence to accreditation standards.

Now Hiring a Chart Auditor for our newest inpatient Detox and Residential treatment facility, in Richmond, VA.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular chart audits to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company, payer, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor clinical and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Track missing documentation and ensure timely completion of all required chart elements.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain adherence to accreditation and compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Punctuality and careful attention to detail
• Team player with ability to collaborate well
