Universal Health Services’ Newport News Behavioral Health Center is seeking a records compliance professional to manage medical records, ensure regulatory alignment, and oversee EMR documentation for adolescent behavioral health care in a structured residential setting.

Newport News Behavioral Health Center is a 108 bed intensive and highly structured residential treatment for psychiatric and behavioral health needs of adolescent males and females ages 11-18yrs. Newport News has an on-site certified school, therapists, and vocational programming. Newport News, VA is a beautiful seaside city, rich in maritime history and conveniently located to DC and other major North Eastern cities.
Responsible for ensuring the content of the clinical notes pertaining to patient care, treatment, and services is in compliance with all licensing and DMAS regulations.

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Business field is preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of Virginia Medicaid billing and previous experience in medical records preferred.
