Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking a Charge RN - Surgery to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight of daily surgical services, while performing circulating nurse duties across multiple specialties. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant perioperative care with hands-on patient contact.

You will balance real-time coordination with intraoperative responsibilities to lead the team and maintain clear communication within the surgical suite, supporting high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• California RN license and BLS certification at hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience with leadership skills.
• Preferred: circulating OR experience, BSN, 3-5 years OR practice, CNOR, leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate surgical operations ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Perform circulating nursing duties across various surgical procedures.
• Maintain compliance with perioperative protocols and policies.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to the surgical team.
• Ensure effective communication and workflow within the surgical suite.
