Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care for residents
• Strong teamwork and communication within a multidisciplinary staff
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition and maintain documentation
• Leadership and supervisory ability to manage shifts and staff

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Skilled Nursing facility during the assigned shift
• Oversee nursing actions to ensure quality patient care
• Assess residents’ condition and determine necessary actions
• Direct and coordinate nursing actions during emergencies
• Ensure adequate staffing and delegating tasks within scope of practice
