Texas Health Resources, Inc. invites you to join the Oncology team as Charge Nurse (RN) at Texas Health Fort Worth. In this role you will lead care for oncology patients on a fast-paced 35-bed unit, coordinating nursing actions and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

This PRN position offers rotating weekend and holiday coverage (7P–7A) with self-scheduling and opportunities for education and career growth within a supported leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid RN license and oncology/medical-surgical experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced oncology unit is preferred.
• Strong leadership and patient-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care for oncology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Mentor staff and ensure adherence to care protocols.

PRN (7P-7A) As Needed – Rotating weekend and holiday requirements

• Fast-Paced, high-volume Oncology Department (35 bed). Patients are admitted to this floor for multiple diseases such as Leukemia, Sepsis, Lymphoma, Melanoma, Breast, Kidney/Pancreatic Cancers, pain management and med/surg overflow.
• This is a mixed acuity unit. You will have the opportunity to build your skills caring for higher acuity PCU patients with a lower patient ratio.
