Job summary

Join Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on the full-time night shift (36 hours per week, 3/12s) in Georgia. The role requires nursing leadership, patient care coordination, and a focus on patient and family-centered care.

You will participate in performance improvement, maintain licensure, and support governance while upholding confidentiality and safety standards. Certification requirements include BLS and an RN license (GA or compact).

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN usually preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• RN license; RN-COMPACT or single-state license acceptable.
• All certifications required upon hire unless stated otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Care Coordination: monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; update care plan.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: address patient and family needs and educate.
• Performance Improvement: contribute to quality improvement initiatives and cite progress.
