• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Participate in activities related to patient flow, including admission and discharge processes.
• Conduct audits to ensure documentation reflects thorough assessments and appropriate care.
• Adjust staffing needs to assure quality patient care and safety.
• Act as a role model for staff in providing a patient care experience that exceeds expectations.
• Attend Charge Nurse Educational programs for professional growth and development.

Requirements

Education:

• BSN preferred.

Experience:

• 1-year recent experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a KP training course within the last 12 months.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse License in California.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Basic arrhythmia required.
