Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. The role includes providing clinical care as needed when census demands and communicating patient care and staff concerns to leadership.

Applicants must hold RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and have at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia required.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required prior to independent administration.
• NRP/PEARS/PALS where applicable as stated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands and directs staff accordingly.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader.
