Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The nurse will provide clinical care as needed during high census periods and communicate patient care and staff concerns to leadership.

Minimum requirements include a Georgia RN license, BLS, and graduation from a nursing program. A sign-on bonus is available and a bachelor’s degree or specialty certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License and BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two (2) or more years hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
