Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a night shift, full-time Charge Nurse for the Psychiatric Unit. You will oversee delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding staff as a resource and mentor.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing, active NJ RN license, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred candidates have a BSN and 2–3 years of clinical nursing or lead experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Active and current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, prior Charge or Lead nursing experience.
