Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a Night Shift, full-time Charge Nurse for the Psychiatric Unit. You will oversee delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care, provide leadership to staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements include an active NJ RN license, an associate degree in nursing, and BLS within 14 days. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of clinical nursing/leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in nursing is required.
• Active and current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, prior Charge or Lead nursing experience preferred.
