Job summary

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is seeking a Charge Radiology Technician to support diagnostic imaging, patient care and departmental operations in a busy radiology service. The role emphasizes leadership in workflow, problem solving and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent and 2–5 years of radiology experience, with registration as Radiology Technologist. On-site role with evening shift differential and a schedule of Tue–Fri.

Qualifications

• Associate or trade school equivalency in radiology or related field.
• 2-5 years of radiology imaging experience.
• On-call or supervisory responsibilities may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures with high customer service.
• Performs radiographic imaging exams independently, in on-call situations if applicable.
• Manages shift operations, daily workflow and IT/equipment tickets.
• Acts as clinical resource and mentor for technologists.
• Serves as liaison between the team and leadership; communicates information properly.
