Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is seeking a Charge Radiology Technician to support the Imaging Services department with diagnostic imaging in general radiology for adults and pediatrics. The role includes supervising in the supervisor's absence and mentoring staff and students.

Responsibilities encompass patient preparation, imaging, shift management, and escalation of IT or equipment issues, acting as a clinical liaison between team and leadership to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
• Manages shift operations to include daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusts priorities to meet department needs.
• Escalates IT and equipment tickets and serves as clinical resource for technologists.
