Glenwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Oklahoma seeks a Charge Nurse to lead nursing care, delegate shifts, and monitor resident well-being. This role emphasizes safety, security, and high-quality care for residents while guiding nursing staff to reflect these values.

Required RN or LPN license in Oklahoma, current First Aid/CPR, and at least 1 year in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. 100% employee ownership and strong benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
