Job summary

BJC HealthCare’s Integrated Spine Team is hiring a Team Lead Charge Nurse for a 174 Integrated Spine Unit. You will provide clinical leadership, mentor staff, and deliver direct patient care as needed on a day shift with three 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's required.
• RN licensure required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years nursing experience; leadership capability valued.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates unit activities on a shift.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and acts as clinical resource.
• Mentors staff and supports daily operations under supervision.
• Leads identification and resolution of care gaps across transitions.
• Champions evidence-based practice and collaborates with interprofessional team.
