Caring Healthcare is seeking a CNA for ongoing shifts in Corpus Christi, TX. You will perform patient care, medication administration, and routine rounds, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with the charge nurse.

Responsibilities include reviewing 24-hour reports, narcotic counts, completing MDS/Skilled charting, and coordinating with transportation for appointments. The role requires current Texas CNA certification and strong teamwork.

Qualificações

• Active CNA certification required in Texas.
• Experience in skilled nursing duties preferred.
• Comfort with med administration and patient rounds.

Responsabilidades

• Complete CNA duties for the shift and record on the binder and board.
• Review 24 hour report with the charge nurse from the prior shift.
• Perform narcotic count and verify sheets.
• Conduct room rounds with the outgoing nurse and ensure CNAs also participate.
• Review lab follow-ups and pending orders from the 24hr report.
• Administer medications per schedule and manage G-tubes, PPIs, Coumadin, PRN meds, nebulizers, and skin treatments.
• Complete monthly shift summary and skin assessments.
• Document ADLs and meal intake for all CNAs before shift end.
• Submit shower sheets to Unit Manager or DON.
• Enter MDS/Skilled charting updates, changes in condition, new orders, and coordinate appointments with transportation.
• For OOP residents, complete forms and head-to-toe assessments.
• File incident reports for any events and log them in the 24 hour report.
• Log lab inquiries and note new orders or received labs in the lab log.
