Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Day Shift, Full-Time Wound Care Medical Surgical Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care and support the unit leadership. The role requires an RN license, BLS, and ACLS, with preference for a nursing bachelor's degree and supervisory experience.

The successful candidate will act as a clinical resource, collaborate with the supervisor, and help determine staffing needs to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or license deemed acceptable by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Maintains current ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on designated shift in the assigned department, collaborating with the supervisor or manager.
• Provide direct operational support for the unit on a shift basis and act as a clinical resource for staff.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and management, assisting the supervisor in determining staffing needs.
• Identify staffing problems within the designated unit and support staffing decisions.
