Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks a day shift, full-time Wound Care Medical Surgical Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will coordinate patient care on your designated shift, collaborate with supervision, and serve as a clinical resource for staff.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in nursing, an active Oklahoma RN license, and BLS. ACLS is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma from an accredited program.
• Current RN license with Oklahoma State Board eligibility.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on designated shift in the assigned department.
• Provide direct operational support for the unit and serve as a clinical resource for staff.
• Liaise between staff and management and assist with staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care coordination on designated shift in assigned department with collaboration with the supervisor or manager. Provides direct operational support for the unit on a shift basis, acts as a clinical resource person for the staff and acts as a liaison between staff and management, assisting the supervisor in determining staffing needs and identifying problems the designated unit.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of an associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or diploma from an accredited school of nursing program
• Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Maintains current ACLS

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• Previous supervisory experience
