Job summary

Green Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation in Arlington, TX seeks a registered nurse (PRN) to deliver compassionate care and support resident well-being under supervision of RNs and physicians. You will administer medications, monitor status, and assist with daily living activities in a team-based setting.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, completion of an accredited vocational nursing program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Texas.
• Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions, reporting significant findings to the healthcare team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control protocols.
