Job summary

For the new graduate RN: focus on developing knowledge and growth in caring for increasingly complex patients. Requires GA RN licensure and ADN or Diploma; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate degree, ADN, or Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; competent in RN I performance expectations.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as charge nurse ensuring cost-effective, patient-focused care.
• Lead teams and participate in NGMC committees/councils.
• Model healthy work environment behaviors and trust among colleagues.
• Translate patient conditions to physicians and other staff; use safety tools.
• Support quality improvement and patient experience initiatives.
