Qualifications

Your Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that care delivery aligns with the company's mission, policies, standards of practice, and regulatory requirements. Manages the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing care during the shift, including mentoring staff and collaborating with medical professionals.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shifts.
  • Serve as a resource regarding the quality of services provided.
  • Provide direct resident care, administer medications and treatments as per policy, and follow physician orders within legal scope.
  • Manage nursing personnel effectively to minimize overtime and agency staffing.
  • Assess staff performance relative to standards and goals.
  • Conduct staff meetings and update the DON regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of LPN or RN program and licensed in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (as required by state).
