Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the nursing unit, ensuring care meets regulatory standards and Villa Maria Nursing and Rehabilitation's policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance, support, and feedback to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordination of care and effective communication.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including progress notes, MARs, and other documentation.
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement activities, including audits and chart reviews.
