New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Charge Nurse to plan, organize, develop, and direct day-to-day unit functions in line with regulations and facility policies.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure in New Jersey, 5+ years of nursing experience, and at least 2 years in a supervisory/charge nurse capacity within a care facility or hospital. Proficiency with PCC/MDS and LTC guidelines is essential.

Formación

• Must possess valid NJ state RN or LPN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required.
• Two (2) years or more years of experience as a supervisor/charge nurse in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care Center.
• Working knowledge with PCC and MDS.
• Knowledge of current LTC state guidelines.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care.
• Provide the Director with information relative to the nursing needs of the resident and ability to meet those needs.
• Schedule daily rounds to observe residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met.
• Perform direct nursing care as needed.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
