The Charge Nurse acts as a clinical resource and role model, ensuring adherence to standards of nursing practice in the hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Texas with current BLS, ACLS, and strong leadership potential.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying (TX for Beaumont).
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS required after 90 days of employment; ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care under Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with medical, ancillary, and support staff.
• Provide leadership by working with the team to maintain standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting.
• Serve as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff.
