Job summary

Apploi is seeking a PRN Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver qualified nursing care in our Quitman, Texas facility. You will ensure efficient care, mentor staff, and coordinate with physicians to support positive resident outcomes while meeting state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include admissions, care planning, medication administration, incident reporting, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. Texas LVN licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LVN program and TX licensure.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in skilled nursing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily nursing functions per rules and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with care documentation.
• Mentor and educate nursing personnel on unit standards.
• Coordinate shift assignments and resident care plan updates.
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders when allowed.
