Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to assume shift responsibility for planning and delivering direct and indirect nursing care on the Med Surg unit under the Nursing Director. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team, guide and educate staff, and strive for optimal patient outcomes in line with hospital policies and service standards.

This role emphasizes Service Excellence and professional growth.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies and procedures, standards and philosophy. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
