Charge Nurse (Night Shift RN Unit Manager) | RN

Join our team as a Charge Nurse (Night Shift RN Unit Manager) at Carespring Health Care Management.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Charge Nurse Unit Manager to join The Advanced Therapy Center at Chesterwood Village in West Chester, OH. You will assist the Nursing supervisor in overseeing total patient care within the nursing unit and managing the unit operations.

$37 to $43 per hour (based on RN licensure and experience). Additional shift differentials are offered for evening and weekend shifts!

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks and patient care
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies by personnel, medical staff, patients, and the public
• Work on designated units as assigned by the D.O.N., A.D.O.N., or Supervisor
• Review 24-hour report sheets for updates in patient care needs
• Conduct rounds and supervise Nursing Assistants
• Administer medications (including IVs) and treatments as per Physician’s orders
• Address the spiritual and psychological needs of patients using available resources
• Assist with patient admission and discharge processes
• Conduct shift reports and handoffs
• Transcribe physician orders accurately
• Respond to telephone inquiries
• Assess patient needs and develop/update care plans
• Handle patient admissions in the absence of the documentation nurse, including verifying orders, arranging diagnostics, and communicating with families
• Coordinate transportation and complete necessary documentation
• Maintain detailed electronic medical records
• Oversee cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Communicate effectively with all departments
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the unit
• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately

Qualifications
