Job summary

Lutheran Sunset Ministries in Clifton, TX is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse for a night shift (10:00pm - 6:00am), Monday through Friday. Rotating on-call weekends approximately every 4-5 weeks. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision & life insurance, retirement plan, tuition assistance, free gym membership and PTO.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Responsibilities involve delivering age-appropriate care, supervising staff, communicating with medical staff and department

Qualifications

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Experience in leading and supervising staff or teams.
• Strong communication with medical staff and other department directors.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Provision of age-appropriate care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
• Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, and other department directors.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
