Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (3/12s, 36 hours/week). You will join the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while supporting family interactions and safety protocols.

The position requires RN licensure (RN-COMPACT or single-state) and BLS; associates degree or diploma in nursing is acceptable with a BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire (BLS and RN-Compact or single-state RN).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as part of the patient care team, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality, safety and professional standards.
• Mentor and precept other nurses, support shared governance, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Maintain licensure and certifications; complete required training and professional development.
